Dr. Phillip Stelly grew up between Sunset and Carencro.  While attending Sunset High School, he became interested in dentistry and decided that was the profession he would pursue.  After graduating from USL, he was accepted into LSU School of Dentistry.  Receiving his DDS upon graduation in May 1989, he practiced for a year in New Orleans before moving home and practicing in Carencro.  Being in practice in this area has afforded Dr. Stelly the opportunity to treat family and friends which has been a true blessing.  Establishing the doctor/patient relationship has always been important. The American Dental Association, The Louisiana Dental Association, and the American Academy of General Dentistry are just a few of the organizations he is affiliated with.

While attending dental school, he met his wife of 38 years, Nancy.  They have two daughters who are married, and four grandsons.  Dr. Stelly is an avid hunter, gardener, and also raises thoroughbred horses.
